In the end of July 2005 I finished a Degree in Nursing in Santa Maria Nursing School, since September 2005, Ive been working as Nurse in Centro Hospitalar de São João in the Intensive Medicine Department, I dedicate my professional life in the field of the critically ill patient, besides that my main field of interest and expertise in patient care are the wound healing, physical and respiratory rehabilitation of critically ill patients. In 2010, I finished a Master Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine in ICBAS-UP, with a master thesis untitled Effect of Acupuncture in exercise tolerance in patient with heart failure. In the same year I attend and finish a Post-Specialization Course in Rehabilitation Nursing in Oporto Nursing School, which allowed me to obtain the professional title in Rehabilitation Nursing. Since 2011/2012 I attend the Ingrated Master Degree in Bioengineering in University of Oporto (FEUP/ICBAS). My main interests and study fields are Wound Healing and Skin Tissue Engineering, Tissue Engineering, Drug Delivery, Biomaterials, Acupuncture and Health Sciences.
