Helena Branco graduated in Biochemistry at Faculty of Sciences and Abel Salazar Institute of Biomedical Sciences of University of Porto (FCUP/ICBAS-UP) in 2019. During her last BSc year, she developed an internship entitled "Role of SPARC's peptide 2.3 on endothelial and prostate cancer cells" at i3S/INEB and DQB/FCUP, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Susana Sousa and Prof. Dr. Paula Gomes.

Currently, she is taking the Master Course in Oncology of Abel Salazar Institute of Biomedial Sciences of University of Porto (ICBAS-UP).
