Mafalda Pinto is a pos-doc researcher at the Cancer Biology group at IPATIMUP. Mafaldas research focuses on metabolic reprograming of cancer cells with mitochondrial dysfunction, although she has been involved in different projects. Mafalda has published several peer-reviewed papers with over 500 citations. Besides her research, she supervises undergraduate and graduate students and has been involved in teaching, both at the University as well as in PhD programs. Mafalda is a member of an editorial board and has an h-index of 10.
